NHS Winter: Weekly A&E tracker Week 14 – Princess Royal Hospital Again Fails to meet Government 4 Hours Waiting Time

This winter the BBC is monitoring how well A&E departments are coping with the pressure the winter imposes upon them.  The NHS has been trying harder than ever to get people to use
services instead of A&E, like their local community pharmacist or GP.

This week’s national figures for England are:

  • 92.4% patients seen in 4 hours at major A&E hospitals
  • 95.0% patients seen in 4 hours at all A&E units
  • 4128 Ambulances queuing

You can click on the link below and enter your post code to see how well your local A&E is doing.

I used rh10 4yy and was given The Princess Royal as my local A&E, who with 90.6% this week is up from 88.7% last week, and below the Governments 95% 4 hours waiting target.  East Surrey is on target at 95%
