Redesigning local NHS Stroke Care – A message from our CCG

We want local NHS services to meet the needs of our patients and our local community. To help us do this we are keen to hear and learn from real local experiences.

We are looking for a number of local people within the Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex areas to work with us and inform the Sussex-wide Stroke Services review by sharing their experiences, feedback and ideas. These may be people who have had a stroke or who have experience of stroke in some shape or form either through a loved one, family member or as a carer.

This work may take the form of attendance and involvement at the Clinical Reference Group (the first meeting is scheduled for 22nd May 2014 in  Lewes) or separate discussion/input groups, dependent upon your individual desired/available level of commitment.

I would be grateful to receive nominations of people who wish to be involved and an indication of the level of involvement you are able to offer. All nominations must meet the CCG selection criteria and requirements for public engagement.

If you can help us to improve local NHS stroke care by sharing your experiences, please email [email protected]  or telephone 01273 403693, before 30th April 2014.

Many thanks in advance,

Kind regards

Sheila Brinton
