Access to your medical records is now available

As many of you know the surgery has recently transferred its clinical data processing to a new software package which is called EMIS Web.

This provides a largely behind the scenes improvement for the running of the surgery systems but it does have some transparent benefits for us as patients.

Most notable is that once registered you now have the ability to look at a summary of your own medical records.

As before you can also book appointments and order your prescription medication on line.

However, as mentioned above, you do have to register first even if you were originally registered on the old ‘vision on line’ system (now discontinued).

Follow this link¬†which takes you to the surgery’s site where details of how to register are available.

Don’t forget to print the form, (you might find after clicking to do this you get another window to open at the bottom left of your screen to click on), sign it, and take two forms of ¬†identification with you to the surgery to register.
