Community Urology – a New Service Availabe from 1st October

Our CCG  announced that a new service regarding Urology, providing shorter pathways and quicker waiting times, goes live on October 1st 2015.

The service will relate to the following conditions and you can be referred by your GP:-

  • Male Lower Urinary Tract symptoms
  • Chronic male pelvic pain (including chronic scrotal and prostatitis)
  • Female urinary incontinence
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Recurrent urinary tract infections
  • Catheter related problems

The service is being provided by 2 accredited providers:

  1. Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
  2. Sussex Medical Chambers

The service will be available within a variety of locations throughout Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex and if your GP is going to refer you into this service they must give you a choice of provider you want to go to.
