Mobile Phone Scheme Update/Reminder

As many of you know we have a location (in the shape of a silver barrel), in the surgery, for you to place your old mobile phones into.

So far we have raised £183.00 so please keep them coming. As a special reminder if you are able to donate one do try and find the charger which goes with it.  At the moment we have a number of donated phones but no chargers and this means we can’t trade them in order to raise cash.  So, even if all you have got is just a charger please do put that in the barrel anyway as we may be able to marry it up with a phone.

The proceeds will be used by ‘The Friends of Crawley Down Health Centre’ to help cover our overheads with any balance left over being put towards our latest fund raising project.

If you are able to donate a phone remember to do the following beforehand: (a) remove the Sim Card. (b) remove any multimedia memory expansion cards, (c) delete all entries from the phone’s internal address book.

If you are unsure how to perform any of these tasks put a note on your phone to that effect, (with your contact details in case we need to get in touch with you), and we will check it before it leaves our possession.

Many thanks for your help.
